Documentary Project Reflection
While watching the documentary, I felt a very strong attachment to the film that in most parts I had to pause and take a breath. During the end of the film I started to cry because I know this was a wonderful documentary but I also know that nothing will be done about the coral bleaching… This is the film that actually motivated me to travel to exotic places and see the things that may not be there in a couple years. I would really like to go see the great barrier reef but I am now afraid that it will soon not be there. This film was amazing, and I have watched it ten times since the assignment was assigned. One thing that did surprise me was near the end of the documentary when they got a call that the coral had been doing something weird, I did not expect what I saw. I love this redesign. It is so much more inspired, and it gives a vibe that I think could excite people about this course. When I look at the original, the title of the course seems fun, but what does not seem fun is the block of text describing it, because I do not have the time. In the redesign, the picture is enough to get me interested in what HIST 414 has to offer. Great job!
